Angela Finkill

Angela qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1986 and joined the NHS working as a junior physiotherapist at the Northern General Hospital where she developed an interest in the treatment of orthopaedic and musculoskeletal problems.

Progressing to a senior role, over the years she has gained valuable experience through many postgraduate courses and has 20 year’s experience in acupuncture, being a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists.

After 30 years, she only recently retired from the NHS to concentrate on further developing Valley Physiotherapy Clinic, the private practice she established in 1996.

Holly Bowden-Lovell

Associate Physiotherapist

Holly qualified in 2008 with BSc Hons Physiotherapy from the University of Huddersfield and has worked in the NHS as a specialist Physiotherapist in the musculoskeletal field, treating both children and adults. Through voluntarily working at local sports clubs and Stocksbridge Park Steels Holly has an extensive knowledge of and enjoys treating sports related injuries. She currently works with runners of all ranges and abilities. She also enjoys treating children with ‘growing pains’ or injuries.

Holly has studied to Masters level and successfully completed the MSc Manual Therapy of the Lower Limb in 2016 at Sheffield Hallam University, she hopes to continue to progress her career further at masters level.

Holly, having completed APPI training, also teaches Pilates in a class setting and individually offers it as an important adjunct to patients’ rehabilitation programmes, facilitating recovery and preventing recurrence of problems.

She joined Valley Physiotherapy Clinic 6 years ago and, having become a valued member of the team, is now an Associate Physiotherapist at the practice.
