Physiotherapy
At the Valley Physiotherapy Clinic we provide a holistic approach to treatment. This involves a detailed assessment in
order for us to have a thorough understanding of your condition and the underlying factors influencing it. Treatment is focussed on
alleviating symptoms as well as addressing the causes to prevent recurrence and involves a combination of manual therapy techniques.
An in-depth knowledge of the underlying problem allows us to provide you with a specific exercise programme.
The sooner physiotherapy begins, the faster the recovery. Early physiotherapy allows for complex cases to be identified
in order to facilitate referral to the appropriate specialist if required.
Treatment includes any one or a combination of exercise therapy, manual therapy techniques, electrotherapy, acupuncture,
massage to facilitate soft tissue healing and re-education of posture and poor movement habits.
We are proud at Valley Physiotherapy Clinic that the majority of our patients are referred by local GP's and word of
mouth from previous satisfied patients.
Physiotherapy Assessment and Treatment
Physiotherapy assessment and treatment can help reduce pain and prevent future problems whether you've been recently injured or have

Acupuncture
Acupuncture is an effective therapeutic tool in rehabilitation. We are pleased to offer this service at our clinic.
Acupuncture
is the gentle insertion of sterilised needles into specific points on the body.
Classical acupuncture was developed in China over 3000 thousand years ago as a component of traditional Chinese medicine. Acupuncture has been
successfully used for hundreds of years. Research has found that acupuncture stimulates the production of endorphins and cortisol in the brain. These chemicals
are vital in pain relief and inflammation control. As physiotherapists are often treating conditions involving pain and inflammation, acupuncture has become a
valuable tool in rehabilitation.
